A Report from this Sacred Site
"Earth Goddess is/was one of 19 topiary sculptures created by International Mosaiculture of Montreal and seen in the United States for the first time. Mosaiculture is the centuries-old horticultural art of covering fabricated steel forms with planting material and "plugging," or planting, it with tens of thousands of tiny plants. She measures 30 feet wide by 25 feet tall and became a giant icon for the popular summer show, which saw Garden attendance double from the same time period in 2012. The acquisition celebrates the exhibit's success and the Goddess' lofty status."
